Welcome to the Filberg House
website. Filberg House was Arthur Erickson's 1st great architectural triumph. Designated "Most Beautiful House in Canada"
by Canadian Homes magazine in 1961, this home was also recently featured in Dream House magazine Sept/Oct 2007 issue.
Canadian architect Arthur Erickson essentially captured the architectural worlds' interest as they took notice of the then-young
Erickson's talent in creating this magnificent structure on Vancouver Island. It can be said that creating Filberg House helped
launch Erickson's illustrious career. The house is steeped in local,national, and international history and fame.
